The goal of Swedish Massage is to melt away muscle tension and increase the blood flow to your heart. Swedish Massage is extremely therapeutic as it decreases muscle toxins, increases oxygen levels in the blood, and improves flexibility in the body.
Deep Tissue Massage reaches deeper layers of muscles. It is used to break down knots and relieve pressure points throughout the body.
During a session Tara will often use both Swedish and Deep Tissue techniques to provide you with the therapeutic massage that meets your needs. Deep Tissue doesn't have to mean deep pressure. With over 15 years of experience, Tara has developed a sense of how to effectively release muscle tension. She encourages open communication with clients. If you aren't comfortable and need an adjustment to depth of pressure, if you're too hot or too cold, she encourages you to let her know and she'll happily make adjustments.
Reflexology works through specific points in the feet to reduce tension and stress in the body.
